Today, ETFO held elections for President, First Vice-President, Vice-President (Open), and Vice-President (Female), OTF Table Officer, and executive members. Delegates heard the presentation of the budget and voted on a number of resolutions.

Provincial Executive Elections

Election speeches were delivered in the morning at today’s annual meeting, followed by delegates voting in the afternoon. Voting was overseen by Returning Officer Susan Ritchie. This is the new ETFO provincial executive for 2021-2023:

Presentation of the Budget

First Vice-President Karen Brown outlined the proposed ETFO budget for 2021-2022. Following the presentation, a 30-minute question period was held where the First Vice-President answered delegates’ questions. Throughout the Annual Meeting, ETFO staff will keep track of passed resolutions that have budget implications. The final budget, with these additions, will be reviewed on Thursday morning and then voted on by delegates.
